The term foodies can be seen as modern gluttony.. Making a love and fascination with food into a major outlet of life. Nothing wrong with enjoyment though. Whatever makes you happy. But… this comes on the concept of the seven deadly sins and turning food into a God & worshipping food.. Isn’t food nourishment. Is it okay to enjoy? Pleasure? Yes but not to make it the base of your exsistence.. So that you forget God/The Universe/Consciouness.
